Some pics from the Southern T Caper held just over a fortnight ago. This tour was over two days, and went from Mosgiel to the historic Goldmining town of Lawrence. After spending the night there, the cars returned through the stunning Waipori Gorge.

That has to be some of the prettiest country side I have ever seen. I wish I were there!

Invercargill -- Isn't that the home of Burt Munro?

We visited the ruins of a 19th century brewery whose owner had a love of Daffodils. There were thousands! They had lasted better than the brewery!

Mike, Invercargill is where Burt Munro lived. Friends of mine knew him and tell stories about him. He was a hard case!

Invercargill is about 2 1/2 hours drive South from where I live.

Fantastic pictures Nevin. I am lucky with great T touring roads nearby. The unsealed ones are my favourites. Looks like you have chosen some great roads to take the tour on. Thanks for posting. I hope to one day come over and take in a NZ tour.

Pictures can't do justice to NZ. I spent a month there one week in 1986, and just couldn't get enough of it. Wish I had the strength to return.
