Model T Ford Forum: Forum 2014: I SHOULD drive a Model T - according to Facebook

According to a quiz on Facebook titled "What Type of Car Should You Drive," after answering ten questions, I should drive a Model T. I do not know what the other choices were, but since I do drive a Model T, I thought the quiz was quite fitting.

It was a toss up between country crooner and folk singer, I got VW bus! Had one, it was a good time in my life.

Got the T too, and tried another time with other choices that wasn't "me" - got a suggestion to get a VW bus, so it isn't totally rigged :-)

I don't care what Facebook tells me.
In Fact I think that Facebook is a waste of time and good electrons.

I think I'll start a save the electron movement - Just think of how much electricity we could save if everyone stopped using Facebook.

And it would make the enviro-nuts happy because pollution would be less because the power plant would have to work less.

I ended up with a 67 Mustang fastback just like the one sitting next to my "T".

It says a Mustang for me. That's funny as my first car was a 1966 mustang with 200 cubic inch 6cyl engine.

I took it twice, once was the left brain choices and then the right brain choices. or the angel and devil sides of me. The left brain/angel side was, drive a model T and the right brain/devil side of me, was the Mustang. Both are correct for me ...:-) :-(

WHAT? I ended up with a Porsche 911. I always thought I was just one of the regular guys. Maybe that's why I have a V-12 Jaguar in the garage next to my '25 Fordor. Doesn't matter, I just like cars.

Ajo Bill

My real answer to a lot of the questions would have been none of the above, but I got Model T also.

The question I have had in the back of my mind is I wonder if the person that designed the quiz actually knew how much different the Model T is to drive than any other rig? The average person would not have the slightest clue as to how to get the car moving, let alone start it. I know many folks who like old cars but would not own a Model T because of how unusual the car is to drive.

This is like voting for politicians: There is no "non of the above choice". I ended up with a Ford 389 in a T frame. :-(

I got the Mustang also. Is it strange that the only new car I ever owned was a 69 Mach 1? To bad I could not select multiple answers it definitely would have changed the results. Rock and roll forever but big bands rule also. Jim

I finally got more than five uninterrupted minutes to take the quiz.

SURPRISE! SURPRISE! SURPRISE!
I am out of step with the world and have no desire to line up with the rest of the world.
Who would have guessed such a thing?

Yes, I should drive a model T! Guess I need to back the coupe out and go for a cruise.
drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
