I am finishing an another NRS Engine Project, and only need a couple of parts. They don't have to be runnable condition. This is a display engine and the parts can Be in any condition. 1). One Beehive Valve Spring. 2). One Piston Push Rod. 3). Three Manifold Clamps. In any condition. Thanks for your help.mark
Bump, Thanks for any help! mark
Mark,
Sorry I don't have any spares. I know Model T springs will fit and work, although they are not beehive if you are attempting to show how NRS springs look. I haven't compared, but can Model T manifold clamps be altered to work?
I have had pushrods machined and there is not much to them, especially if you are just making a display engine.
Good luck,
Rob
Thanks Rob I appreciate the info and help. Yes the Model T springs and manifold clamps would work, but I am trying to show for the club the original parts used in 1906 to 1908 NRS Fords. I have original push rods, just need one more beehive spring,One Piston Rod and the 3 clamps. By the way... How much do you want for the beautiful Ford Model K engine in the picture. Mark
Mark,
The plan is to build a Model K speedster, so not for sale. Besides, everyone should ha e a spare engine just in case.....
If you wish to borrow a beehive spring for a while I have one. However, it's the original from my N number 3, so I wish to keep it (although I'm using T springs).
Rob
Mark,
I'm not quite sure what you mean by "Piston Rod" -- if that is part number 442 shown below from the 1907 Price List of Parts -- they refer to it as the connecting rod -- which I believe is a more common term for it.
If you mean some other part -- please take a look at the Price List of Parts on the Early Ford Registry and let us know what the name and part number is.
Someone had some two bolt connecting rods produced for the N,R,S, and SR to replace the hinged cap style. I would guess there are a couple of folks that have those left over rods. I would recommend you give Glenn Rand a call as well as Floyd Jaehnert. I don't think they spend much time on the computer -- but they might have or might be able to point you to someone that has the parts you are looking for.
Sorry, I don't have any extra N,R,S or SR parts. At this point -- I'm short parts on the S Runabout -- but I need to fix the speedster and then the Model A first -- so it is ok.
Respectfully submitted,

Hi hap...Thanks. Yes I need One #442 Connecting Rod. Rob, thanks for the offer on the beehive spring ,but if it is your original I wood feel better if you hung onto it. I have all the original factory parts for my 14 T Runabout, including the original top, and side panels. You just cant replace something original from 100 years ago. Again thank for the help. I try and get the contact info for Glenn ans Floyd from the EFR club, which I am a member. Mark
