If anyone is in this area please contact me if you would consider looking at a barn find car and taking a few pictures.
Thank you MTFCA forum,

Rob - This barn find isn't IN Lynchburg, is it? I travel there for business sometimes and I always stop to look at this garage on Main Street. It is packed full of interesting stuff, but is not open to the public. There is at least one early Ford as you can see, and on the day when this photo was taken, there appears to also be a Mercury body speedster. I usually go by once a year and there's always something different in the window.
That building in Lynchburg houses a private collection. You have to know the owner to get an appointment to view his cars.
This collection is owned by Mark Smith, and has numerous early Fords, and at least one Model K I believe (maybe 2). Mr. Smith likes original (unrestored)cars and he has a lot of them. He does sell a car occasionally, and I believe he's actually licensed as a dealer. Google his name and Lynchburg and you'll dig up contact information for him.
Rob, if you don't get any good response, please contact me, I have a friend in Lynchburg who's a car guy and may be able to help you with inspection and pictures. By the way, I met you once at Walter Higgin's place, I was picking up my 1910 Buick Model 16 body...David Coco david.coco@comcast.net
David, thanks. It's close to Roanoke, and involves a parts swap. If necessary, I'll get back by pm. I wish I were able to get there myself, but unlikely. I'd also like to visit the private collection in Lynchburg someday if the opportunity ever arises.
