doe`s anyone know where all the wood pieces go in a 27 touring wood body kit. They don`t come with instructions.
www.fordwood.com has some excellent illustrations showing where each piece goes.
It shows the back seat just fine, it just don`t show the front seat back wood frame.

The front seat of the Improved Car touring has no wood frame. There is just a single steel support, and the wood is only the tack rail around the backseat rest panel.
The only wood seat frame is in the rear seat.
Oops.....
Forgot to mention, that prior to fitting the backrest spring, in the front seat only, there is an 'anti-rattle' piece of panel board to prevent the spring from banging on the steel panel. Use a waterproof board, sold by upholstery shops. Slip that board between the steel strap to hold it in place, the board is just slightly bigger than the spring frame.
Rear seat backrest spring going in place, no cardboard there, the spring rests on the wood frame pieces.
