I hate doing this and I did post this on the classified and on craigslist but i want you to have first choose. Sorry, trailer only.

I have owned for over 10 years. The trailer was designed to hold down and haul T's without the use of straps. Has attached foldable loading ramps. Have hauled many T's many highway miles. I Have had a TT and a model A on it for local run. Also used for motorcycles and stuff. Pulls like a dream. 2 inch ball, new 6 ply trailer tires, heavy built with heavy no brake U-haul axle and spring setup, tongue wheel for roll around. Has been wired for 4 pin but needs to be rewired. Usable floor space is 112" x 62". 67" between fenders. Mama wants $500.00. IM or email for added info.

WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO THE ENDS OF THE ''T''s FRONT AXLE ???

Bob, this chassis is part of a speedster which was built in the 50's. I brought back from Albany NY (on the trailer. 2,650 miles round trip). The front axle was chopped and one inch iron in a 90 degree angle was welded in and welded back to the spindles. This dropped the car 4 inches. On the back of the car, they "Z"ed the frame to lower the rearend. See the photo of the rear cross member.

Hi Tyrone--Seems as though the USA road rules are very lax compared to Australia. This axle would not pass for registration over here.

After reading the thread about trailer brakes I hope the new owner has a 3/4 ton heavy duty truck and gets two more axles added to the trailer with brakes on every wheel so he can safely use it to haul a T a couple of miles.
I hope he never joins that terrible single axle crowd with all those high risk dummies.

For all the years (10+ years)I hauled my cars (coupe, pie wagon, speedster)I had never felt in danger of over loading my brakes. I used a 93 full sized bronco which has front drums and rear disk brakes. I had driven mountians and flat roads.

I don't doubt that brakes on a trailer is a good thing but being aware and safe driving is much more important. All the brakes in the world is not going to keep you from an accident like safe driving will.
