Any body know if the coupe with the straps to work the windows ever had some type of cushion to stop the windows from rattling? My 21 coupe has some after market screw with a rubber pad that you tighten against the window.
Is there any felt window channels installed? That's what keeps the glass rattling and cracking.

Ken, that is what I thought. But! the glass has vinyl covered metal frames on the bottom and sides and will not fit in the channels. Hoping that some one with one of these coupes can give me a positive answer
21 coupe window are ether open or closed no in between. You have to lift the window off it's ledge pull it inboard and drop down to open so felt channels will not help much. To close the window you lift it up then push the bottom out and drop it in the U shaped channel.
Back in the day there was a spring loaded/screw do hicky that looked like a floor mounted door stop only smaller that mounted to the window frame that pushed against the glass to keep them from rattling when closed.
