I told you not to look.
Nice, thank you for sharing
Yes, very nice. Definitely "go fast" Fords! Thank you for posting.
WOW, talk about eye candy--I love the "barn find" car, what an amazing piece of engineering.
Thanks Ed,
I just spent the afternoon looking at his web page http://buymegivemetakeme.com/, what a collection.
I purchased a running Galivan model t car a couple of years ago. We got it running and drove it up and down the street in front of my home all afternoon. It was damn fast.
.
The interesting thing about this motor is the sound. It does not sound like a typical 4 banger. It sounds much more like a modern 4 cylinder dhoc Japanese performance motor.
Mine has dual up draft Miller carbs, hi compression domed pistons and a good cam grind. Full pressure oil and a drilled model c crankshaft. This powers the model t transmission then to a modified Columbia 2 speed rear axle.
At the same time I also bought 2 Fronty overhead cam race cars. Comparing the different motors the Galivan was hands above the better performer. As far as I know this Galavan powered car is the only one running anywhere. It starts runs and drives. There are some pretenders but none on the road making smoke and noise.
just sayin,
