I need to remove to clean and seal for 1927 TModel.
Any help on removing is appreciated.
What body style? Is the tank under the cowl, under the front seat or in the trunk?
Touring....under the cowl

Drain the gas.
Remove the sediment bulb/shutoff valve.
Remove the 2 nuts and washers holding the straps.
Remove the straps.
Remove the tank.
Ken, you just forgot to disconnect the battery.

I would first disconnect the battery, otherwise if something metal touches the switch plate from behind connections sparks may fly?
Some posters have reported the need for loosening the whole dash panel when dropping the tank on some '26/'27:s. I didn't have to on mine, but it was a bit tight.. The brake adjustment may have to be loosened to be able to flip the pedal out of the area.
Sorry Andre, I'll try and remember to include it next time. Smiles.
Thanks everyone.
Got the tank removed and at a radiator shop to clean and line.
