Recently I had some guys helping load some T items in two pickups and a trailer. When I got home I found a dozen 9inch item in the bottom of one of the pickups that I don't what they are. Every thing else in the sheds that were loaded was T parts. They are 9 inches long and screw into each other. The threaded part is !/2". If I can get this picture to work I thought maybe some one could tell me what they are.
They might be standoffs for mounting two tires on a spare rack. I have seen shorter ones that worked for a Model A.

Rich - Altho' they look a bit too "stout" for that purpose, you might be onto something!
Dave,....if it looks about the right size, you might see if a lug nut from a '26 - '27 Model "T" or a Model "A" lug nut might screw onto those things,....just a thought,.....harold
I bought a kit once years ago from jc Whitney to put dual
Wheels on a single wheel pickup truck with all the wheel nuts repmoved you screwed them on the lug studs to hold the inside
Wheel on then there was an adapter that slid on the long studs
It was made from chrome moly steel pipe I guess. Then you
Installed your second wheel and put the original nuts on
Ta - daa instant dually !

One of the Walk ins suggested the same thing so maybe you are right. I sure don't know and don't think that I have ever seen any thing like them. Model T parts were just about the only thing in the sheds that we cleaned out. We had such a big load I was scared that we would blow a tire or something. Two of the guys that helping load knew nothing about model Ts so I guess one of them just threw the unknowns in one of the pickups or the trailer. One of the things we loaded was a large tub like a washing machine full to top. with Carbs, mostly holly NH. There were also some late kingstons. They had mostly been taken apart so time permitting I have been putting some of the N.Hs back together.
