HI ROB ,----'THE ONWARD MARCH ''
I THOUGHT '' DRIVE FORTH ''IN THE CAR SCENE WOULD BE MORE APPROPRIATE ??
Bob,
Two Model K listed, but no Model R?
What gives?
And the yet to be marketed Model T is included.
Thanks for posting all the great pictures Rob. Other than "The First" it would be interesting to know how many were built of all of these models and the years that they were built. Jim Derocher, AuGres, Michigan
Rob--My thinking that with the little difference between the ''R'' and the ''S'' to list one -or the other --would be sufficient .
Jim,
Following are some accepted production numbers by model:
Model.....Years......Prod Numbers....
....A.......1903-1904....1750....
....C.......1904-1905.....880....
....B..........*1905........500....
....F........1905-1906...1200....
....K........1906-1908..960-1000
....N........1906-1908....6700....
....R............1907........2560....
....S........1907-1908....1784....
....S Rdstr....1908........3950...
* I'm calling the B a 1905, because they were sold after October 1904 (1905 Fiscal Year) primarily through 1905 (some in 1906).
The NRS and K numbers are taken from Ford audit sales numbers. NRS numbers may not include cars sold through Ford Canada. These are my best guesses at the moment, subject to wiser forum members correction

This chart appeared in a Ford Times (about 1915?) and is a good quick reference guide:
Thanks Rob, great info. Jim Derocher AuGres, Michigan
What about the Model AC?
Good day Thomas.
I don't subscribe to the "Model AC" theory. In my opinion, Ford did not refer to a model as "AC." However, to differentiate between parts orders, did list engine and some other parts as "AC" as opposed to the 8 hp "A" model designation.
As with the Ford publications above, I have not seen any period advertisement, news article or Ford publication refer to a "Model AC." That doesn't mean I'm right, just my opinion. As with other accepted Ford history, my opinions are subject to constant change.
How about this lineup of used Fords for sale from John Wanamaker?
WOW !! --What would the $4000 car be ?.
Including a 1905 Model H Ford 10 H. P. ? And for only $680! Very interesting!
Great stuff Rob!

Rob I love your Info on the Early Fords. Keep it coming. You need to compile then in a book someday. Mark
Rob do you have a higher resolution version of the model year pics? I would like to make a poster.
Send an email and I'll send the best pic I have. It may not be a lot better but we can try.
