I figured out why I was confused with my coil box wiring. The previous owner had it wired for electric start. I have carefully dismantled it and now wish to wire it correctly. Could I get some pictures of properly wired 1917 coil box switches and bottom wood? Thanks

Daniel:

If you go to our web site you can download the instructions for installing our waterproof coil box kit and that has line drawings that may help you see what is connected to what.

The link to the kit is:

http://www.funprojects.com/products/5000RK.aspx

Click on the blue hypertext "Installation Instructions" in the center of the page and then download and print the data you find there.

Here's the switch. The wire on the left comes from the MAG terminal on the back of the box. The right one comes from the BAT terminal. The center wire goes to the metal strip in the bottom of the box.
