I am in need of two 1/4"-20 x 3/4" Robertson (square drive) oval head machine screw to mount the steering column dash support on my 1927 Tudor. The car is Canadian, so it is not supposed to have any Philips screws at all. I have been unable to find any locally (not even the specialty fastener stores like Fastco or Tacoma Screw have them) or online; however, with so many stores out there, I am positive that I have not exhausted all of the possibilities.

Would any of you have a source that might sell them? Thanks.

I bought some brass Robertson style screws from a specialist wooden boat supply company here in Oz when I first got my Tudor. It was a while back and I don't remember if they had machine thread screws or just wood screws.

It might be worth contacting Robertson in Canada. Maybe they still make them:

Jim,

You may be in luck. I have some original nickel plated brass Robertson oval head screws which came from the dash of a 26-7 T. However, they are only 1/2" long, not including the head. Two are freshly re-nickeled, the others as found. There are even some plain slotted head ones. Let me know if I can help. No charge. Just paying back a kindness done to me on some US sourced oil seals.

Allan from down under.

Google Robertson Screws. Still in business in Canada. They might be able to put you on to a US distributor. I have lots of them but they are holding my 29 A roadster together. Bill
