Can somebody tell me the correct diameter for the pin that holds the universal joint on. I want to pick the best driveshaft from the two I have and don't have a new pin on hand to try it.

That list shows the pin at 3/32", which is wrong, according to the Ford parts list it is 9/32" x 1&1/2" long (P/N 2574)

I wonder what else in that list is misinformation?

Ken,
Thanks. That sounds better. I tried measuring the hole and it is pretty close to 9/32". I thought maybe it was 1/4" and badly worn but it looks perfectly round so 9/32" means I just have to get a new pin and not a driveshaft and ujoint.

The last and only pin I bought from a vendor was only 1/4". I tried to source 9/32" rod but I would have had to buy something like 10,000' to get some, so I opted for a 3' length of drill rod, which is tough and worked when cut to length.
