It looks like it probably is being used for a photo prop based on the background.
Based on the little that is shown, it appears to match the 1904-1905 Model C Ford.

Of course there were similar shaped cars back then so not being able to see the running gear etc. it could be a similar car. But so fare I do not see anything that would prevent it from being a Model C Ford.

It wasn't a problem back then as the rear view mirror didn't come along until later.

In Ca. every car is required to have at least one bright headlight shine up into one of the mirrors of the car in front of them.
