anyone besides me having problem with searching here?thanks
Randall Strickland: It almost never works for me, but then I know little about computers.
thanks Dave,I have used it before, but always a pain to get it to work!
Disregard the forum Keyword Search, the software is too soft
The best and fastest, is to use Google Search.
Open Google, type in mtfca forum _______
That ______ blank is where you type your search word or words. Be concise. Example: hood former
That will bring up many forum posts, dated, so you can review them easy.
Here was the first one with using mtfca forum hood former

OK That may appear silly where the underline shows, you don't need an underline blank, just was referring to entering the search terms.
The method is to put in Google, mtfca forum first in front of the search terms you want to use.
Clear? Or maybe I need to go back to the garage now and finish the work on the busted exhaust manifold. At least I got the oil changed, and adjusted the low speed pedal, reverse and brake, along with the RM Brakes, as the tour in the Cumberland Plateau in Cookeville TN did a number on the T! Lots of ups and downs, some in Ruckstell low even!
And in the oil screen, a bit more of that dreaded silicone sealer.....I only use a dab of that black stuff at the corners of the hogshead to block, but it sure does keep on shredding.
Doing the same search on google without the word forum I still get good results. mtfca; or just mtfca
The correct syntax is for google is
"Your search" followed by site:www.mtfca.com
Thanks fellows
I use the search tool at the top of the page frequently. It has never not worked for me.
One thing you need to remember, the search cannot be too general or you will get so many results that the search tool times out. If that happens you can refresh several times, but likely the results will not be easy to sort for the exact thing that you are interested in.
If you search Model T Ford, for example, there are too many results.
If you search something specific, say for example:
Model K Ford 1909 December
Then you get an instant result.
