I have had this old light for many years. I have never been able to figure out what car it may have come from. So, with the wealth of knowledge available to me here, maybe someone can ID it for me? It's about 11" diameter at the front. Goes down to 8 1/2" at the back. Depth is about 6". The glass is Bausch and Lomb, Rochester NY Many thanks

Baush & Lomb made lenses for high-class cars, this lens looks very close to the ones fitted on the American Rolls-Royce--but the lamp body is not, so I have no idea--but the lip on the top should be a clue for someone.

Looks like it might be from a 1926 Star (Billy Durant)?
