Charley, your problem is 192 pixels. The limit is on KB, not pixels. Your little picture is only 33 KB. Here's your picture 1200 pixels wide. Even that wide, it's still only 135 KB due to the low resolution.

Try this:

1 Set your camera to its highest possible resolution to get the sharpest picture possible.

2 When you get the picture on your computer make a copy of it and save the original high quality file in case you need it later.

3 Resize the copy. I adjust the height, not the width, so as to not end up with a picture too tall to fit the screen. Adjust the height to the maximum number of pixels (usually 450 to 720) that will bring the file size to 194 KB or just under.

Think of pixels as the tiles in a mosaic. The 194 KB is how much the mosaic should weigh. Not enough tiles, and your picture is too small to have any details. Too many tiles, and your mosaic crashes through the floor of the software.

It's easier than adjusting transmission bands or relining brake shoes. I'll come pester you if I make it over your way. :-)

What the heck did that poor engine do wrong that you had to string it up? I thought hangings were against the law now.

Charley, I didn't say adjusting bands was hard, just that posting pictures is easier. Less time and effort involved. Here's a picture from last month's tour. I'm going to time how long it takes to post.

Copying, resizing, and posting it here took less than four minutes.
:-)
