I did it. I rented a u-haul and tripped my T down 11 hours to my Dad's house in NC. Although, it took almost two days to get there. LOL
He had never ridden in a T although he's 73 years old. I took him for his very first and probably only ride. It was expensive to do, and most likely an event I will not repeat. I didn't take a lot of pictures, but we drove around a lot and visited my uncle and my cousin.
I even took the T to my high school where I graduated in 1986.

I bet you made your Dad's year. Good for you!!! I regret not being more on the ball to get mine together to give my grand dad a ride before he got real sick and passed. As they say in they say at the end of the commercial, Priceless. There is no way to put a cost on something like that.
If I went to the High School I graduated from they would probably have my "T" dismantled before I could slide across the seat to get out!
