Guys: Looking for input for a tuner for a 6.4 Ford Powerstroke. There are so many on the market. Anyone have one that they like and why? Thanks, Dan
This is the one that is easiest to install and tune for my money and good tech support.

My son has a Banks on his Cummins powered Dodge, and is very pleased with it.
Probably hard to find anybody here who have personal experience with more than one. Might have better luck on a truck forum.
I have personal experience with several different brands. I see a lot of customer's trucks with driveability issues and transmission problems. As a professional mechanic, I do not recommend tuning chips. Who knows more about the truck, the people who built it, or the people selling the chips and tuning programs?
The "people who built it" are more concerned about economy, emissions and meeting fleet standards than performance. There's a lot of room for improving drivability and still staying within boundaries. Every vehicle that comes out of the factory is de-tuned to some extent. Meeting emission inspection tests is left to the owner/tuner as it should be.
I agree with Ed, Those tuner chips only over do what the vehicle was made to do. Iv driven both the Power Stroke and now my 2006 5.9 Cummins and both had / have all the power and economy I could ask for.
I had a full Banks package on my 6.0 Powerstroke. Works well. Doesn't over work the truck components. I do recommend it. Tuner alone isn't the best way to go, but if you improve the breathing with intake and exhaust modification it is great. Also Banks monitors the exhaust gas so you don't get to hot. Only reason I don't still have that truck is I just picked up a new 6.7 Powerstroke. Stock it has more horsepower and torque that my 6.0 dialed up to max output.
