Hello
Would any one have a 1927 T headlight for sale I am looking for one that bolts to the cross bar bolted to the front mud guards .
Hard to get in OZ
Thanks Bill
Bill Volkman: I had some but I think they are all sold. I will check in the morning.
There are several on E-Bay right now.
Thanks Chester
I have set a message to a seller on eBay .

Is the 27 bucket set on a "block" that then bolts to the crossover ?
If so, I picked up a nice one last summer. I am only interested in all-black T's, so it is not something I need. What is a fair price ?
The early Improved Car 1926, has head lamp buckets with stubby stem and an oval pad, bolts to the fender with two bolts. And there is a Left and Right style.
(Note: there is a crossbar shown under the 'pad' on this lamp, but that crossbar is non-Ford, aftermarket fender brace rod.)
The later '26-'27 'fender bar mount' are universal left or right, and have U-shaped bracket, unlike the stemmed brackets, held with single bolt to the Ford cross bar.
Dan are you sure there is a left and right headlight in the bolt-directly-to-the-fender style lights? I have not detected any difference in all the ones I have seen. The only difference between mounting them on either side is the orientation of the focus screw. On one side it is at 12 o'clock and on the other at 3 o'clock. Perhaps this is a Canadian thing.
Allan from down under.
Yup, that's the one I picked up.
Is there supposed to be a weld along one side of the mounting "block" where the flat bolt-down plane
meets one of the verticals ? ... or has mine been repaired ?
Allan
Guess the Canadian thing it is.
The USA Parts list:
6501C Fac #6501CX Fender mount, Right
6502C Fac #6502CX Fender mount, Left.
Guess you could mount a Left on a Right fender, but be sure to remove the rim and reposition the rim so that the Ford H lens is in proper up position
Burger:
There are no welds on the later bar mounted headlamp, the U bracket is one piece, riveted to the bucket.
