I installed a new starter and battery cables now I have no spark, horn will not work either. Had the battery tested and it was good, ran a different ground from battery to frame, checked wiring connection, I am out of ideas. Before I installed my new starter I had spark, it must lie something with that I think ? Ant ideas ?

did you put the 'yellow' wire on the wrong lug side of the starter switch ???

Guessing you have a 6 gang terminal block on the firewall, use a voltmeter (or a 6V lamp on leads) with one side on the 3rd terminal from the left, and the other to a ground...

You have voltage there, all else should work so then it is in the switch if it doesn't.....no voltage there then it is in that wire from the starter switch to the dash terminal.

Jared
Did you reconnect the yellow #10 wire to the hot side of the starter switch? That yellow wire feeds all the car loads with the exception of the starter.

Once again thanks for all your help, I put the yellow wire on the starter side. I put the wire on the right side and fired right up.

A little something to save for future reference:

There are times when I find this very helpful.

If a wiring is being saved it would likely be best to save the most recent.

Actually here is the easier to read latest version without the goofy beige background courtesy of Steve Jelf.
