Does the 9N share any components with the Model A or T ?
I believe the crank ratchet screw is the same as a Model A
A lot of people use 9N starter switches on Model T's because the new repro T switches are junk.
I use a 9N muffler on my 1926. Mike
Derek,
There are 2 repro switches made now. Only the cheaper one is junk. The other one has worked good for me.
Are either of them really repro starter switches since I think the one is just a functional switch made up with an off-the-shelf switch and some sort of adapter mounting. It is not a reproduction of the original switch I didn't think - or am I wrong about that?
There is/was an inexpensive "imported" switch available that resembled an original switch and but not a high quality one !
The front wheels are 19 inches on the 9N and 30 and 31 Model A Fords. Sixty years ago my cousin had a single rib tractor tire on his Model A for a spare.
If I recall you can use the valves and valve guides in an A engine.
