Anyone ever managed to get wiper scratches off a windshield?...mostly shallow.. kids played with the manual wiper on a dusty dry surface.. all suggestions appreciated
There are polishing kits available, and some glass shops offer this service.
Rule of thumb learned after many years in a related business — if the scratched are deep enough to catch your fingernail, they won't likely polish out.
You used to be able to buy glass polish at any general or grocery store. You still can at many stores, except that they call it "stove top" cleaner for glass topped stoves. It works slowly, but it does work.

A radio car guy (Leon Kaplan "The Motorman) to clean windshields with Bon Ami, I've used it and works well. Hose it off before washing the rest of the car.
