Just got a e-mail from The Henry Ford thanking us for what we do!!! WE get so much more than what little we contribute i feel guilty! The Wife said there were Model T's in the Detroit Parade and we even saw some we know!!Bud.
Hi Bud - Yes, so true! We get much more from The Henry Ford and the Old Car Festival than we give.
I didn't get that email from them, but that's ok.
Best wishes,
Keith
I agree, great place. We should plan a winter event there and spend a few wintry days driving the staff crazy in the Library. Can you imagine a group of us "digging" through materials in the daytime, then lying to each other about what we found in the evening?
I can't figure out why nobody responded to my post last Saturday:

The Henry Ford: "Innovation Nation."
Educational, with good shots of THF and Greenfield Village, plays on CBS Saturday mornings. Part of today was about Henry's work with soybeans.
Ralph,
I missed your post. I probably only look at 10-20 percent of threads. I should become more dedicated.....
Happy Thanksgiving
RD,I read it but i was hoping someone better qualified would respond.A few years ago the International Club had a tour that featured many of Henry Ford's cottage industries.Bud.
Rob,Sound's good and maybe we could even find out about the weak Model K trany!!!!!!!!!!! With a grin/Bud.
Rob,
Let's pick a date and do it! Early or late January would be great I'm always in for a trip to the Benson Ford!
Bruce,
I would like to make it in late January, but schedule and weather may not cooperate. Let's keep it in mind as we get through Christmas,
Rob
The Benson Ford Archives are incredible. Besides the T and early Ford car stuff we search for, there are countless other items. Groups can arrange for guided tours of the collection. Well worth it!
