I'm looking for information on the tour that the Down East Chapter of the Model T Ford Club of America sponsors in September. I'm not sure if this is called the Mainely T tour or if their tour is run in conjunction with the Mainley T tour. I come from Maine and my parents still live there. I want to take my dad on the tour. I have a 26 and he has a 17 T. Any info on when it is and how to register will be appreciated.
I've sent you a private message regarding the tour.
Mark - Could you also send it to me?

I'd appreciate one, too, please.

Thanks!

We are still working on finalizing this tour, and once finalized it needs to be offered to the club members first before opening it up.
I will however post the information at the earliest time I'm allowed.
Thank you for all the interest, and I hope you can all understand, but if this tour fills up with people from away before our own club members it would be worse than impeachment for me...

Mark - Just wondering.....
What is the max. number of T's for the tour and what city will it be based in?
Again, just wondering.
Thanks. Keith
Well, to answer what I can, we have 60 rooms set aside in a small coastal area for the tour. The typical attendance is 55 cars, but I'll add that there are around 160 club members on the 2014 roster. Finding a place for meals is tough once you get a crowd that large up here, so that may be our limiting factor.
I'm not trying to keep it a big dark secret, but our club members must be given the opportunity to sign up first. My best estimate is that the information will be available sometime in February.
Sadly, we had wished to be in the Belfast area again and invite the world, but there was a conflict with a Fireman's Convention leaving only 4 or 5 rooms available in the area.
I will post the information on this thread at the appropriate time.
Warmest Regards,
Mark Wetherbee
Mark - Thanks for the information.
Maybe Belfast can be done in 2016? Just a thought, but we really did enjoy the National Tour there back in about 2000.
