What a great photo ! Nobody has heard from Bob McDonald for some time now - you still with us Bob ?
Note the brief case on the step plate.
Erik, Looks like a Doctors bag, so I guess that makes it a Doctors Snowmobile?
Could be a brief case, doctor's bag or tool bag but we won't know until someone takes a look inside.
Note: "Rev Fr Drufresne" on the photo.
He may be carrying a bible, communion kit and other effects.
Rumor has it that he is operating a mobile confessional booth - that is why there are side curtains……ha, ha...
Funny Erik - being a "good Catholic boy", I can relate to the "confessional booth" remark - I'm still laughing !
Did you notice his back up vehicle to the left of the T ?
John
The front of the house looks odd, like it has a tarp or something draped over the top part, covering up part of the icicles....
The snowmobile appears to be a '20 to '23 Canadian model.
I've been through Blind River countless times and spent a long weekend there once. Knowing the folk of the area, that thing is probably still out in the bush somewhere...
Are there any available statistics on how many of these snowmobile were made by how many companies and on how many different Model T chassis?
