Hello,
Those of you who have a 1927 roadster might be able to help me. I need to know what size the threads are on the top iron supports? The pegs just behind the seat on each side that the roof sets on when down. I can't get a thread gage in the hole to see. Thanks for your help.

Sure it's 16TPI, and must be 3/4" dia.

Dan,
Thanks for your reply, I tried a fine thread 3/4" bolt and it was too big and a 5/8" bolt is too small. I am beginning to think it is one of those bastard threads Henry is famous for? I'll keep looking.

I measured the extra one I have (I just have the one, not a pair) and the threaded hole measures 5/8 diameter and 16 threads per inch.

Mark,
Thanks for your input, after closer inspection I have concluded I have some thread damage so I machined a stud .040 oversize with 16 threads and it seams to work fine. Thanks again.
