eBay has just released a new version of it's app for mobile devices. I have my iPad set to automatically update apps, and when I saw the new version of the eBay app it was a rude surprise. I don't think of myself as computer illiterate, but I am having a difficult time finding things with this new app.

If you are not in a rush, I suggest holding off on updating your eBay app on your mobile device for a week or so. The new version does not seem as if it is ready for prime time.

Respectfully Submitted,

Trent Boggess

Yep! I was trying to work out what the heck was wrong.
Wish I could revert back to the old app. It was a lot more user friendly. " if it aint broke, don't fix it "

Yea,It has went downhill since they hid the other bidders handles from you when bidding.I don't like that. What few folks I know their id's ,I don't want to bid against them.Nor do I want to bid if someone I know that does not give up. Same as if I am at a live auction.
Ebay has really screwed up lately all around. Hard to use,and you can forget getting a real person if you call on the phone and you get generic email responses if you email.IF any at all. And the seller is ALWAYS the sob, regardless of guilt.

Am I the only 1 having trouble getting usps tracking numbers to work? 1 package I sent 2 weeks ago to NY, got there on LAST friday according to the lady at the post office. But when I check the number here online, it appears I have not even taken it to the post office yet. Now if there is a problem, who do you think Ebay will crucify?

Mack,
I'm having the same problem with a box of Piano Rolls that, according to tracking, arrived at the Richmond, CA sorting facility on November 8, but nothing since. The seller's not at fault, it's the Post Office who screwed up, but the ebay "problem solving form" doesn't allow for that, it's either MY fault, or the Seller's fault!!
Seller is a nice person, don't want to give him/her any "black marks." BUT I do want my box 'o rolls! I have initiated a Postal inquiry, we'll see how long that takes to get anywhere.

David D, Good luck with the post office. I am still waiting for some Antique Automobile magazines that went missing about six years ago. A few of them I really wanted.
The other time I recently had trouble with the USPS, we paid extra to have something insured. When it arrived broken, I found out that there is only ONE postal employee in the entire district that is authorized to give you the form to request compensation, and they are at our local post office ONLY two hours PER WEEK! If you do not happen to be available to spend a couple hours at the post office during those particular two hours, you are out of luck (hey, I was still working at the time). They sure don't tell you that when they are begging you to BUY the insurance.

Mack C, you know, you are a terrible, horrible, person for being that way. How do you expect eBad to make high fees if you don't keep bidding the sales price higher and higher? I am only kidding you of course. I also used to stop bidding for several people I knew.
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2

I don't know how I doubled my usual closing? Yes I do. I was interrupted.
And interrupted.
And interrupted.
