I think Lang's and Mac's used to offer a rebuilding service, although it was rather pricey. Maybe Russ Potter might do them.

Jared,
The vaporizers were supplied on the last model T's in response to very low grade fuels that were available at that time. In fact, they would run on kerosene if the engine was hot enough. Similar carburetors were used on Fordson tractors with good results on such fuels. With modern gasoline, a vaporizer is not necessary unless you are driving your model T on junk fuel in Minnesota in January. Vaporizers do give the best mileage, however. If you want the best performance and are willing to drive your T a half or one miles per gallon less on your long distance trips, just build up a Holley NH carb. On a 26/27 T, A vaporizer, Holley NH, or Kingston carb are all correct for those years. Opinions will vary, of course. How many of us have been on a tour and seen a car with a vaporizer? I have. They were last in for lunch.
Erik
