I think that the two pictured with the hats and long ties are young ladies not men. Anyone ever heard of that candy? I assume the photo was taken in an English speaking country since the lettering on the car is English.

A lot of the old photos show cars with steel wheels. Better ride? Less accidents due to wheel damage?

1920's disc wheels were about as heavy or strong as the hickory wheels from the same time, I think? Some brands used one style of wheels, other brands used many styles of wheels - I think you had a choice between wood or disc wheels if buying a mid 20's Chevy?

The young ladies looks dressed a bit like gentlemen from the 1860's?
