Do you have to be a member of the MTFCA to go on this tour? I'm not much of a joiner and just wonder if membership is a requirement.

Yes, membership in the MTFCA is a requirement to attend National tours.
There is a lot of work many volunteers do make these tours a success. The least one can do is to support the club by spending a couple of bucks to join.
You also get a very fine magazine with lots of handy info!
See you there! Guess we can send in our applications for the tour soon?
Gene - Good points! There is actually one more "plus" that I think is worth mentioning:
Another very good reason to spend that few bucks to join (and support) the club is to have a copy of the club roster in your pocket (or toolbox) because a cell phone and that club roster can be a real lifesaver in case of trouble. Only takes a minute to scan down thru' the names, addresses & phone numbers to find who in the club is pretty close to where you are when trouble strikes!
Tour applications must be postmarked NOT before January 2, 2015. I have mine ready to mail on January 2.
Registration forms can be found here

If it wasn't seven days one way this sounds like a great tour!
