Judging from the perceived slow down in postings on the forum I assume that every one that is not forced to stay home is preparing to travel. My father (a State Trooper) had this advice for me
1 Keep the greasy side down it is a smoother ride that way.
2 Never tell people when you expect to arrive, if you must tell them something pad your arrival time by 30 minutes per 100 miles, this will keep them from worrying needlessly and keeps you from feeling like you must meet some non-existent deadline.
3 If someone should give you the 1 finger salute take a deep breath and yell MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Everyone have a safe trip to see family & friends I'm sure they will want to see you next year too!
Good advice. Always.
Thanks GRC.
Drive carefully, and do enjoy the holidays!
I thought the 1 finger salute was the international sign of friendship
Merry Christmas and stay upright if you are on the road.
