My wife gave me a copy of Dyke's Encyclopedia for Christmas.
What did you get?
Sorry, I didn't see the other thread before I started this one.

Bills! But I did get a nice calendar from Lang's since my "Pete" is the February picture!
Pete looks great Tim! Hope to see him one day! Love that calendar.
Nothing.
A box of Sugar free Whitman's Samplers
I got a nice game cam. Now maybe I can get a look at the wolf leaving the tracks near my cows. PK
"Sugar Free" I hear ya John.
My Wife conspired with Don Booth to make a photo album of the restoration of our Fordor.
I got two OREGON DUCKS sweatsuits. I didn't go to U of O, as I couldn't afford the tuition, but I worked one summer in high school at the farm/ranch that is the site of Autzen Stadium.
I have no feelings about U of Ill, where I graduated.
I have never been a spectator, so when I started watching Ducks football the last couple of years, wifey asked why the change. "Dementia," I said.
TW timer,TIG welder,And an assortment of paint and sandpaper....Is someone trying to get me going on a few "Projects"?
Dave, Just think you won't be in the return line tomorrow.
I got a Bridgeport mill and now all I have to do is find enough room in my garage to run it.
Santa gave us great Christmas weather here in Missouri, sunny and a projected high near 50 degrees F!
Santa also almost gave me a free start this morning! Two pulls with the key off and choke on, turned the key and almost got a free start - the car then started on the next pull.
Tomorrow's forecast is for partly cloudy skies but slightly warmer, so I'll be taking Betsy out for another drive tomorrow.
My dad gave me a 1926 Roadster! It wasn't wrapped up with a bow or anything... Just a card with the title inside. I think I stared at it for 5 minutes before I could think....
This is one of coolest gifts I've ever got. Those of you have been around a few years probably recognize the car. It's the cheapest, most beat up T I own and it's also the most fun ones for running a round in. It now has a permanent seat. This car was in the same family from 1917 until 2005 and is a true vintage speedster from back in the 20's. My son in law painted this picture for me for Christmas. He doesn't draw or paint much but he had knee surgery a few weeks ago and can't work or fish.

I see I'm starting to stutter.
Langs gift cards! Yay!
A bloody mess from a heap of grand kids!!
My brother and I have been having some differences of opinion regarding my worthiness over the last few years. A couple years ago I went through some rough spots in my personal life and got into the habit of taking it out on anyone who disagreed with me. Over the last year or so I've been trying to find my way back to darn near being someone people didn't want to beat up on. Apparently it's working. My brother came to visit me today and we had a really great visit. We talked about things from our childhood I had forgotten. He had me laughing so darn hard I had tears running down my cheeks. I'd forgotten about how great we could be around each other and every little story he'd tell he'd come up with just enough goofiness to keep me laughing harder and harder. When he had to go I was pretty much done in. It was a kind of emotional roller coaster that wore me out. God blessed me with one of the greatest Christmas gifts of my life.
Mike, it just can't get any better than that. Especially at Christmas!
Thanks John. It was great!
Had 51 for X-mas dinner today. Peeled a lot of potatoes this morning. Drove the 31 Tudor to get a couple bags of ice. Just finished the kitchen cleanup. A really nice warm day. I am blessed to have a large family. P.S. I did get a remote controlled Helicopter gift. Love it!!!
My wife loves me a lot.....
My wife gave me a beautiful, framed 8x10 of my mother and late father standing with the '23 Runabout that he and I restored together. It made my eyes water a bit.
I gave her three electrical outlets from Home Depot.
7 days at Disney in Fla. And a 200 mile round trip today to visit the Grand Daughter. Both worth it. Happy New Year!
Great story Mike, a wonderful Christmas indeed!
I received a heavy wool black cap with ear protectors. Will help keep my head and ears warmer when driving our 13 Touring or model A roadster P/U. Enjoyed having fun with the Grand kids.
always wanted good friend of mine thanked me for painting his T. 1847 Walker Colt .44 calibre
Chris, maybe sometime while you're plinking away with it you might take a couple photos of the smoke and fire that comes from that beauty. I wouldn't trade my Christmas for nothing but man that Colt could easily take second place. Congratulations.
Waiting for the gifts to open:
By God Ralph, I thought I was the only old buzzard that sat around with one of those furry lap warmers. That's a good looking cat ya got there.
" . . . Four Pairs of socks; Three long sleeve shirts; Two boxes of candy; and a fifth of Mogan David wine!"
new interior and top for my 24 4 door sedan from classtique upholstery
Mike, the (former stray) kitten was there only momentarily, taunting the puppy in the foreground. They're bonded.
I also shoot black powder, the score keeper couldn't hear my 45 cal. hit a 120 yard off handed on a windy day. Wifey let me buy a 62 cal. Hawken, when he walks down there to repair the target I
get credit for a hit. Two years I got a 40 cal. Kentucky for the squirrel targets, you must shoot smaller than 45 cal. there, most shoot 36 or 32 cal. Last year my nephew 6 gauge double barrel came up for sale after he died, from cancer I was not able to go the sale, and another club member bought it. I told him that if he ever wanted to sell it I was first in line, He said it's for sale, said I'll be back with the money. My brother in law, had me to help him for 30 minutes before I got back, He said I didn't thing you was coming back and I sold it to a guy in Iowa, I was so mad I called him a asooo. The day before Christmas, brother in law came buy with two packages, when I opened them the barrel in one package and stalk in the other. I never cried as hard as I did when my dog got run over when I was a little boy. brother in law and wife laughed till we all cried The next gun shoot I got that guy out by himself and apology to him till I cried for what I had done, he laughed, and said we did pull a good one on you didn't we. This year I got 5 whitewall tires and tubs and flaps We had a flat on the last drive, How blessed can a guy be with a wife like that
That's my unique Christmas present:
Cufflinks (yes - I wear those regularly) with laser cut image of my own T.
It is derived from a photo (which is in my profile here) and with a magnifier lens you can see even details.
Normally gathering collectible knives is with little interest for me......but this Case XX cased collectible just happened to really appeal, for some reason. A present from the spouse.
Rain.
Whoa Dan! Suhweet!!!
Santa brought us a puppy named Holley
Lump of Coal!
Derek do you have a cat named Kingston?
Green Grass!!
My only wish for Christmas is to have a healthy family and food on the table. The Lord provided both. The rest is fluff.
Merry Christmas everyone. New to your wonderful site. Been reading for some time now. I got my Christmas present about a month ago from my wife. A 26 Tudor. She's a keeper. The wife is the keeper. Car is too. Haven't had much time to enjoy it yet as I'm still trying to get use to it. Have never owned one before. Had a 28 Tudor,36 Coupe,40 Four door,56 Chev. in the past. All rods. Did start a 23 T rod some years back but lost interest. It's all in pieces and going to sell it soon.
You all seem to have a lot of fun on this forum. Hope to join in some times.
Paul
Welcome, Paul. That's a smart looking Tudor in your profile. Thanks for the complete profile, too.
Congratulations to your wife for being so generous. Give her an extra hug for me.
Well Paul let me be first to welcome you to the affliction! Happy Motoring,The "Joke" around my house is I told my wife cars or bars either way we would probably end up penniless. she chose the cars and is a keeper also. Enjoy the t and be safe
Welcome to the Family, Paul. That's a nice-looking T your lovely wife bought for you. I hope she likes riding in it so she can share in the fun. I'm glad you left "the dark side" to come join us.
Thanks guys. Should I start a new thread to give some info about the car and ask for some help?
Probably best to, yes!
Got a new iPad. Will be a lot quicker to post pics of some of the stuff we are working on. I hope to make progress on a long list of projects that need to be done for guys wanting to tour in the new season, which will be here before you know it. Then I want to take a break and work on a couple of my T's. My 13 speedster is getting Chaffin Rajo power and we are building a T unlimited class hill climber with a wicked Gemsa T mill and auto trans. Can't wait to smoke those A guys at the FAST meet.
Better than all that, we are blessed this Christmas with health, prosperity, and the love of family and friends. Happy New Year!
Fordially, Erik
Cash for car parts, IPad, GPS, and looks like a new air compressor
Mike, Thanks for the heart warming story of your Christmas. Many times we find it hard to show the tenderness required to maintain the firendships that endure a lifetime. Everyone makes mistakes not many of them are on purpose.
Have a great new year
Nothing! By request, that is. I tell the folks on my Christmas list to take the value of something they would give to me and donate that or their time to some cause that benefits their communities. My garage is already packed to the gills. I'd rather see people doing something to make the world a better place anyways. I have been blessed with more than enough.
I got a rock.
That's the idea Kevin. I tell people the same thing. Especially people who I know don't have the money for everything around this time of year. I have been called a Scrooge and worse. If people need to know I gave for them I use a money order or get a receipt in their name. But really give to the Salvation Army or Secret Santa put a few bucks in the red bucket, it will make us both feel better.
Greg
A.17 cal Henry Golden Boy!!!!!!!!!! Bud.
Had to by it myself, full report later. It came with a road trip east not west this time.
I got the same thing that I gave "NOTHING".
I guess that indirectly I did give some friends and family a place to go as we had a lot of company and good food and friendship for Christmas. (no children in my the family but one guest family brought their three girls along)
Oh, I forgot, the family with the three girls did get a good hay ride on our TT truck. Also posted a picture on the MTFCI forum of the truck.
Here is the picture.
