Two years ago we posted a picture of our grandson(the boy) with the Mack Truck. The second picture of him is of him polishing it yesterday morning.
Santa brought the boy a 2015 F-150 for Christmas, which is a story in itself. It was assembled when we brought it home. Got it home and it would not fit in any door. The only other way was through a window(it just fit). This truck has a 2 speed transmission, a working radio (with hookup for a MP3 player), working headlights, and more. Needless to say he was ecstatic, which accounts for the body slam in the last picture.
Cool gramps
Hard to tell who is more happy in that picture. That's the good stuff.
Nice truck!
That last picture is the best one!
Dan, your Grandson has started quite a truck collection. It seems a direction has been set. The last photo really makes your heart skip. Congratulations on your good fortunes!
Dan, you are right that is the good stuff and you guys are right, the last pic is the best. The boy melts our hearts. At three he is such a good and loving child its hard to believe. His parents have recently separated. He is very close to his father and really misses him. He is so car crazy we felt this truck would help him through a rough time. It is a story in it self how we tracked it down as this style was sold out across the country. My wife`s perseverance payed off and she found one.
You are a great Grandad Dan. Keep up the good work, now go out and find that door top for your '13.
Thanks Larry, will do. I thought by now you would have found that for me. Seriously, I havent been able to find that piece. A friend has a sheet metal shop and can make it for me, but it seems there has to be an original out there some place.
