That sign refers to streetcars. I gather we're looking down a side street from the main drag. It's too narrow to be the main street.

Looks like a breezy day too, judging by the way the trees are leaning. Cool pic again Jay!!

My wife is from Eagle River, WI and we lived there in the early 70's. The brick building on the left is the bank, still there today, now a gift shop I believe. The photo is looking east down Main street. Just behind the camera would be the old train station and north south rail line.

Eagle River is in northern Wisconsin and is a logging and resort community on the world's largest inland chain of lakes.

Still have family up there and we drive the T up from Sheboygan every summer, our Tudor has been through that intersection many times.

Cool story Dan. My family and I take occasional trips to Sheboygan and do charter fishing. We have stayed at the Blue Harbor a few times. Beautiful country.

I spent time at Camp Luther at Three Lakes, just up the road from Eagle River. Great country....in the summer.... if you can tolerate mosquitos.

Hal, Camp Luther is still there and going strong. I wonder what other famous alumni Camp Luther has.

Rion, Next time your in town give us a holler and we can get together and kick some old tires.
