I thought it was about time I got some drawings going on the chassis assembly starting in reverse order. Sort of like I was taking it apart.

I'm particularly interested in the stud bar. The picture I saw had a rather small looking one and I assumed it was perhaps an original. Because all the replacement kits I've seen come with the long style like on 17-25.

As always, if you see something that doesn't look right please let me know. I'm working from pictures here and sometimes I don't quite understand what I'm looking at. And since you guy know, you're the best ones to ask.

It looks good, Martin. One thing I see is that the leather pad should be about twice as thick as you have it drawn. See the difference in this link to the ones made by Fun Projects:

Thanks for making these drawings and posting them here for us. They are very helpful.

The hole in the radiator leg is forward of center, but not quite as far forward as you have it.

If you want to add the holes for the choke wire and the light wires, I'll post those too.

Steve, it was hard to tell just where that hole really was from the pictures posted on Brass Works site, so I just guessed. But it makes more sense that it should be back a bit...I'll move it and please post the picture of where the choke bail is too, their' pictures didn't show that (I think) very clear at all.

Here is a link to John Regan's dimensioned drawing of the brass radiator choke rod hole. I assume it's OK to post it here, since it's on his website for all to see.
