Dan, the throttle arm shown in John's photo is the correct RHD arm. However, I have never seen a linkage like that. Usually the end of the linkage in the arm on the lever shaft enters from below rather than on top. The linkage is an arc around behind the manifold to pick up on the carb. I will post a photo later.

This is a linkage from a pre generator RHD T

photo's show linkage in the throttle closed position as Allan says behind the manifold.

Careful you havn't got a LHD carby, the throttle linkage on butterfly is different LHD to RHD
