To date I have added the 2015 Forum to my desktop every day that I have accessed it because each day when I open it from my desktop it has not been updated since the last time I opened it.
Does that make sense? I have a new computer (Mac) that I am not totally familiar with. Anyway, I have to google Model T Ford forum 2015 to get the updated version of the Forum. I then save it to desktop but the next time I open it there have been no new posts - any idea what I a doing wrong?
What browser are you using? You probably need to "refresh".
I am not "Mac Smart" but there is probably a setting to clear the cache or history when you close your browser which will cause the most recent page to come up when you open it the next time.
I'm using Firefox on this Mac. Other browsers may vary. I click File then New Tab. That makes fifteen images of the pages I use most appear on my screen and I click the one I want to open. But I haven't been to the 2015 forum enough times for it to be one of those fifteen. So after I click New Tab I type m, (the first letter of mtfca) and Firefox puts up a list of the websites I've used that begin with m. One of those is the 2015 forum, so I click on that URL and the page opens. Safari works about the same. I type m and it shows a list called History, and the 2015 forum is on that list. I don't know how many times it takes, but eventually the 2015 forum will replace one of those lesser used images on the browser's opening window.
I ask my self the same question every morning.
Some days I wonder why I bother to get out of bed.
It is worse when I get the tax or credit card bill.
And goes down hill when I think about the current condition of this country
But when my granddaughters show up and I hear "I love you more than infinity to the infinity power" (One is a brainaick) I know why I put up with doing things wrong.
Just saying!

James, the way I do it is to bookmark the forum page, save it to "Old cars" folder in the tool bar menu.
I'm using Firefox and the internet is on. When you drop something on the desktop you only open an application when you double click it. I go to the classifieds first then click on 2015 forms
This way, the browser is taking you to the up dated version. Disclaimer: I am very new at this forum. I'm just getting use to their ways. It works for me. If you need more help email me.Doug
