I remember a 1903 model A at a swap meet in Vallejo in about 1984 or 85 for $20,000 in good drivable condition.
Thought it was a lot of money then.

I was offered a good running Model AC for $20K in the late 90s. An estate sale it sold for $15K to a guy who flew in overnight. I was interested only in Model Ts at the time.

a Gulf Oil tank on a T brought over $50K.

A "1915" T Circus Wagon with gilded cage and fake tiger sold for $190K...

We have more income inequality than ever, and more than any other modern nation. It shows.

$155,000 plus a 10% buyers fee, that guy is out $170,500! One has to wonder just how much of that car is still original. Beautiful car though.

Has the '09 two lever come up for auction yet?

Yes the two lever sold for $121,000 with fees. It is a 1908 # 90. Yes it is a beautiful car. Runs & drives as good as it looks.

I thought it would bring more. If I'd have known it was going to go that cheap I'd have had to tell myself "You still can't afford it, stay home and work." I expected it to bring $150-175
