Have a nifty carb I want to use on my speedster and would like to know what brand it is and how to check / adjust it for use.

The intake and carb looks similar to a U&J carb.

Yes, I thought that too, but it has more adjustments and a wider bore on the intake end. It's a beast.

Looks to me like a late Model K Holley. I doubt that it was sold as a set and not as an accessory carb for Model T's. The manifold is pretty generic, a lot of companies used those but with the throttle arm running forward and back and the gas connection at the front and that high I don't think it was designed for a T.

I'd like to see the pic of the other side.

Here is the linkage I worked up for it to install on the TCarb_Linkage

OK. Seeing the other side now I think it is a Johnson, probably original equipment on a Maxwell.

A Johnson. Will have to find some Maxwell owners now. Looking at the "other" side ... what are the two different needle adjustments? Also, when you look into the flange opening there is a very small vent hole. Given that there is a gasket ... What would such a hole do?

The manifold is a U & J . Thought I would say it before Stan did. :-)
