Very nice 23 Mercury bodied speedster..enjoy.
While a very nice speedster, the Fountainhead Museum is not correct with the statement it is a "it is a real Mercury body speedster kit".
I wish a Museum would at least offer correct information, they may have a speedster with a body built by Mercury but that is about all I see. Hood, radiator shell are not Mercury parts.
So if a kit was a body only, then I stand corrected.
I never heard the term, "Dead Man's Front End", before either.
I suppose he meant Suicide front end.
Good looking car. You don't see many Mercury's complete as they were available. My Mercury is not fully equipped but it is a Mercury and unlike most I drive the hell out of it.
Mike, you are right on the money! My biggest soap box item is; museums of all entities should be a place to learn correct historical information on items that they display. Isn't that what a museum is about?
