So after a month or so of debating with my self I have decided to find a 26-7 roadster rumble seat conversion to put in my roadster, since I can't seem to find a decent trunk lid on the planet. However I hit a snag the person who was going to make the rumble seat kit had a medical issue so I am wondering if anyone has one they are willing to part with or knows of one that might be for sale any help is appreciated.
thanks

Seems to me that if you find a rumble seat conversion kit, you'll still need a good turtle lid.

on the car shown in Dan Treace's post, the rumble seat was in the car when I purchased it. It is very small and not as accessable as the ones in Model A's. That is actually the original lid which had been hinged to open from top to bottom. It was also cut about 8 inches at on the top side so that the lid can be opened with the top down. That cut allows rain to get inside and rusted the floor, so now the floor is wood. I would not install one myself and only use that one because it is already on the car. I usually use it for storage as I would use a trunk. Another thing about it is that brace you can see on the left side which holds the lid when it is open. Last year I was reaching in to get a tool out and bumped that brace which caused the lid to fall on my hand and required 9 stitches to reattach part of my finger.

thanks Dan, Norman, I thought the rumble seat would be good for my younger cousins, and I thought it would be neat to have. I think the one I am looking for was made by Wes Sheffield
