Number 2 looks like Tom Edison and yes number 4 is probably Harvey Firestone. Now I don't recognize the 3rd gentlemen however.

Hey! 2 out of 3 in 8 minutes. Not bad. Hint: #3 was also #29.

Chuck, a neighbor of mine is head of the Harding Township, NJ, Historical Society. Harding Township is a bucolic sort of place that was named for Warren Harding, so the Historical Society is always on the lookout for interesting stuff about #29. If you have a high-quality scan of this photo, would you please PM me so I can pass it on to him? Many thanks.

Gil Fitzhugh the Elder, Morristown, NJ (actually Harding Township, NJ - Morristown's just the mailing address)

Edison is reading the news about Teapot Dome, and Harding is just finding out his Interior Secretary is a crook. :-)

Chuck said "I always thought that Model T owners were a bunch of senile old fossils! You guys are sharp!"

It's not that we are sharp it just that we are old and knew these guys personally and even voted for Harding!

Dennis,

Since you were at least 21 when you voted for Harding, that makes you older than your T. Not many of us can say that.

I find interesting the fact that Harding was the first president elected following ratification of the 19th amendment to the Constitution. It's hard to believe such a thing was so recent. There are still many women alive today who were born into a world that denied them, in some places, the right of political participation.
