Fordson on tracks goes to Tulsa, truck goes to Ft Collins.
Stan - I love that Trackson!
Stan - Do you have any other pictures of the Fordson?
This is it. For some reason I can no longer upload bigger photos. I should have taken more but we were trying to get loaded. It was already on the trailer, John just came to pick up a truck I sold to a guy in Colorado. He is hauling it to Fr. Collins.
Stan - do you have a buyer for the Trackson already?
Neat looking Trackson!! I wonder how they steer?? Bud in Wheeler,Mi.
The tractor is not mine. I'm assuming it is already sold since it came out of Lewistown, Montana and is being delivered to Oklahoma. It was already on the trailer when John came to pick up the truck I sold to a guy in Colorado.
Bud, it steers with the brake bands that you can see inside the wheel. The steering wheel has a gear that turns a shaft that tightens the brake band, I think. We were in a hurry to get this loaded and I was busy with other stuff, I didn't spend much time looking at it. Notice the big patch on the side of the block. Very well done a long time ago. The color looks too blue to me but I'm no Fordson expert and have never seen another one of these things so it may be correct.
Ok - thought it was something you were taking to sell at Chickasha.
If it was mine it would have been sold long ago. I always need money, can't crank a Fordson and don't want to.
I took a lot of pictures and if the owner doesn't mind I will post them later or he may wish to do that himself. To many things going on right now and I'm leaving Sunday morning for Chickasha. I've only known the dates of this years meet since last March. Evidently that wasn't enough lead time to have things ready.
John, when the going gets tough, the tough get going.....
Stan things thawed out in montana eager get my truck here befor i buy something else fill that hole in the garage
Things are thawed out--at least for now. I will email you a schedule of my days for the next couple weeks and you can see if you can find a hauler that can be here on one of those days.
