That's the Zust, the Italian entry in the New York to Paris Race of 1908, made famous by the winning car, the Thomas Flyer
Zust at Ames Iowa during the race.
Zust was 4 cylinder 40-50hp, carried 110 gal of gas, the big chain drive car weighted 6,000lbs.
I thought it might be that one.
On tour on Vancouver Island, B.C. a couple years ago, we had the opportunity to see the actual ZUST - see photos. It is in a private collection that was amazing - what an automobile !
