A lot of you folks aren't too far from Petit Jean Mountain State Park, Arkansas and have never been there for the annual show and swap meet. A good time is always had by all. For planning purposes, it's the week before Father's Day. I'd like to invite you to try and make it this year. I'm bringing a T from South Carolina, and Paul Mikestra always brings one from Denver, and Mike Walker and others closer by drive theirs and hang out with them in the swap meet area. Donnie Brown is there--it's his home turf! The show is June 20th and the swap meet will have some vendors arriving and setting up as early as the weekend prior. You may not find that rare part you need, but, you WILL enjoy it. It's mingled in with the trees, so there's lots of shade. Hope to see you there.

Steve, Sorry you can not make it this year. and for everyone else, Im going to start hauling up the T parts from the Estate I have been helping with on the Saturday before the swap meet. It takes me three loads to get everything to the mountain. This is my first year in about 8 or 9 years to haul a lot of T parts to the mountain. There will be a good mixture of parts, with some very good stuff and some average common stuff. . I really do not know what Ill end up with on the trailer this year. There is not a lot of T parts show up at Petitt Jean anymore, like it was in the past. But it is a very nice, laid back, in the trees, swap meet, with a good car show on Saturday. Like most swap meets the vendors will be loading and ready to go home by afternoon on Saturday. Best days for buying is Thursday, Friday, and early Saturday to pick up any leftovers. But as always, the best deals are right when the vendor drives his truck onto the spaces. But at Petitt Jean the set up is from the Saturday before the meets official start date, all the way till about Thursday evening. The place will look like a ghost town on Fathers Day (Sunday). Im in spaces K-5 and K-6 so come on by and say "Hi" or just sit awhile. I may be extremely busy this year, because of trying to sell all the "Estate" parts I can. But there always is a chair and usually something cold to drink (no alcohol) for any fellow T owner. Let me know about any special needs as I may have it or will find it in the Estate stuff. There will not be much body sheet metal, and most of it is just usuable, nothing mint condition. But there is a lot of small items and brackets and misc. stuff. I've missed a few years due to military deployments and family emergencies, but, I've made most of them since I was stationed at Blytheville AFB, AR in the middle 70's, and camped in a tent rented from the base. It's just a relaxing week!
