There is a note on the O2O website that one member is planning on doing it again in 2019 if a group follows through with it.

Wish I could join them. Maybe just a part of the route???

My wife and I made the run in our 15 Runabout in 2009, it was a wonderful experience. We are on the list to go again in 2019.

Can I go? A Model K led the racers out of New York in the 1909 contest:

And again on the 1959 fiftieth anniversary run:

This Model K is currently at Pioneer Village museum in Nebraska.

It seems only proper, Rob. Do you think you'll have the car finished in time? :-)

What will the route be? The same as 1909? Assuming it is finishing in Seattle.

When Ford ran the run in 1959 with a couple of 1909 Fords and they gave out tin badges commemorating the 50th anniversary. They actually deviated from the original route and passed through Sacramento to join the HCCA national tour there. I was a boy of 14 then on the tour and was given a ride in one of the racers.

just askin'

I would assume they will use they same route they did in 2009. Sacramento would be way out of the way. I think the route goes from near Denver up to Cheyenne and then on to Spokane. No where near California.

It would be nice to get groups that would do the Lincoln Highway and the Yellowstone Trail, too.

Katie did an amazing job of filming, editing and mixing in sound and music—and she did so on the fly, during the event, not at a professional production facility. _I remember checking in on YouTube every day to see the progress of the tour and somewhere between New York and Seattle, decided to become a Model T Ford owner. _By next summer, I had my car._Thanks, Katie! :-)
