Does anyone have one of those brass, electric headlamp pull switches they would sell? The one that came with my '14 is very loose inside and the tail lamp won't stay on - it keeps flickering. All the wires are good and tight as is the connection to the battery post on the coil box. I don't know if these switches can be taken apart and worked on, so I figured I'd see if anyone has a spare. I know the vendors sell them new, but I'm pinching pennies now that I'm so close to being totally done with my project.

Bill since the 14 did not come with electric lights, perhaps you are looking for a 15-16 switch which the vendors sell new. A photo of what you have might help confirm what you're looking for. Hope this helps.

Sorry about the confusion but yes, I need the 15-16 switch. My car had electrified headlamps when I got it and someone had put that pull switch on probably back in the day. It looks really old and I'm not surprised it doesn't work properly. When I said brass, I mean the pull top is brass, everything else is black.

Bob of Bob's Antique Auto Parts makes the repro switches. They were $40 at first, but I've seen them listed for less recently on eBay. You might give him a call. (815) 633-7244
