I am looking for a complete list of any and all little add ons or extras you could get on any model T. Thank you!!!!
Chance, that would amount to a list as big as a city phone book.
A starting point would be with a Floyd Clymer's Historical Motor Scrapbook.
The list is endless. Go look up the history of "Western Auto" and George Pepperdine. One could assume that all the millions of aftermarket parts for the Model T sold through Western Auto funded the original construction and operation of Pepperdine University.
Yikes, that's a tall order, I think I read somewhere that there were over 5000 of them!
One good place to look is Floyd Clymer's "Model T Scrapbook", copies are available on Ebay or online book stores.
Or, maybe Jay, our master accessories guru, has a catalogue of his extensive collection.
If you want to see some of Jay's accessories, just Google "accessory of the day MTFCA" and a bunch of his old accessory threads will come up. Enjoy!
The Clymer reprint of the 1926 Fordex Sales Manual (Clymer called it the Sales and Service Data manual) lists several pages of Ford and aftermarket accessories, but it is not a complete list. Then get a copy of an early Western Auto and Sears Roebuck auto accessories and you'll at least have a start on a list.
